MITSC is excited to be returning to the Common Ground Country Fair this year on September 19th - 21st, 2025, with a booth in the Social and Political Action tent.
We're thrilled that co-authors of SEA RUN, Tony Sutton and Judd Esty-Kendall, will be giving a public talk covering many topics in the MITSC special report.
The talk will explore the impacts of Maine policies and activity on the quality and quantity of traditional tribal fish stocks and sustenance lifeways practices, spanning from the time of first contact between Europeans and the Wabanaki Nations to the present day, as well as recommendations for changes to policy.
We hope you stop by our booth where we will have limited copies of SEA RUN available, as well as more information about MITSC, the Wabanaki Nations, and the work that we do. Don't miss Judd and Tony's talk at 3:30pm on Saturday.
